Days 3 and 4 in Vegas were a blast as well as productive! Pheed and Jason Coffins rolled around with Ray and I to United,Project,Pool and Magic (those are the names of the diff trade shows). We met up with some old friends as well as made some new ones. I cant wait to open the new store and show everyone our new lines we will be carrying in 2008. Got some real heat coming your way and its nice to finally be in control of what we want and don't want to carry. The retail biz is a dirty game and unless you have been through it, you don't realize how slimy these reps from company's can get (not all but some). Its mad funny when some herb with no cred and no substance reps some shitty brand and wants to help out his bank account so much that he or she doesn't even take time to do the research on what the line they rep is about and what stores that carry them are about. I can tell you from experience dealing with this type of industry BS that there are a lot of corny stores that get brands simply based on how much money they have and who sucks there reps dick so to speak. In my opinion that's the biggest let down and no matter what if a brand,person,store etc.. has no cred or no substance I boycott on GP because I worked way to fucking hard for my stripes to give someone my support who hasn't ever hopped the fence and experienced life without training wheels. With that being said we will not be carrying a couple brands we have stocked in the past and I'm hyped off that!

Day 2 was by far the best ! I got to meet one of my favorite artist Mike Giant who was the most down to earth guy ever, as well as got to meet one of my skateboarding idols from when I was a teenager Sal Barbier who was also one of the most humble characters you will ever encounter. Throughout the day Ray,Jason (Flying Coffins) and I stumbled into many other cool displays and street wear celebs. Peep the photos:

Ray and I left Seattle yesterday for the Magic trade show in Vegas and ever since our plane took off it has been a non stop party let me show you in pictures:

As you know Trash Talk has been on a US tour all summer and have been leaving a lasting impression on every state they play. It's pretty apparent that our fam is about to blow. They just got signed to Deathwish/Malfunction Records and are getting ready for a full European Tour! If you haven't already added then as a friend on myspace make sure you do. TJ (Actual Pain + Book Of Black Earth)and his GF Val have a new band called KING DUDE! They just released their new album entitled:Dracula's Beard and lets just say that shit is hot just like a bearded Dracula ! Sounds like some acoustic physcadelic yum yum for your ears ! check there myspace and listen to some of their tracks and watch some of their videos. My personal favorite is the track True Love in which Val shows off her beautiful voice over a very echoy and eery acoustic ballad. Nice work dudes!

The United States coastguard says it has found a homemade submarine packed with cocaine worth almost $500 million.

A spokesperson says the vessel was 15m-long and painted blue to hide it under water.

It was discovered just off the coast of Gauatemala in Central America.

Its crew sank the submarine shortly before officials arrived who then arrested the four men found floating in the water.

Nice hand. Meet the owner of the biggest hand in the world, Lui Hua. Hua has a medical condition called macrodactyly, AKA Freak hand. Doctors did a little nip/tuck on this little fella and deleted 11 pounds out of those massive grabbers. Yea! Aow Hua can play his Nintendo Wii!

I was reading the SLOG the other day and came across this really cool entry from a Ghost Hunter named Christina who is studying the Wah Mee Massacre . She went to the location of the massacre and took some really cool pictures of the club which re sparked my interest in researching this event and location. Read her entry here.

Here is an overview of what took place at the Wah Mee:

February 18th 1983
Just before midnight, as Chinatown celebrated the Chinese New Year, three Hong Kong immigrants barely into adulthood entered Wah Mee, an exclusive social club that orbited around high-stakes gambling and attracted the upper crust of Seattle's Chinese community, including restaurant and other business owners. The three young men hog-tied the 14 occupants with nylon cord, robbed them, shot them in the head and left them for dead. Thirteen died, but a dealer at the club miraculously survived, broke free and sought aid. He eventually identified the perpetrators and testified against them.

I don't know if you have been watching this but they had a collapse at a coal mine in Utah and they have had all sorts of NPR time to talk about it the last 6 days. The poor miners have been trapped in there with no communication or food, and to make matters worse the family's have had to deal with this bullshit ass owner of the mining company. I mean the dude has no type of intelligent information to give and he constantly contradicting himself.In fact most of the time he is to busy trying to save his ass and promote and defend the mining industry?????? I mean dude there is 6 people (sons,brothers,fathers,etc..) first off and secondly its 2007 where's the alternative fuels that we don't have to climb to the center of the earth to get and are better for the environment. AUGUST 6--A Maryland woman who had fudge packed in her purse was arrested last week on charges that she burglarized an Annapolis candy store. Catherine Anne Delgado, 35, was nabbed after police responded to the Maryland House Hotel, where they found her crying in the lobby. According to an Annapolis Police Department report, Delgado had chocolate smeared on her arms and shirt, and there was so much unwrapped chocolate in her purse that it was spilling out onto a hotel sofa. Eagle-eyed Officer Robert Galusha recognized the fudge "to be of the same type which is sold at A.L. Goodies" a block from the hotel. A check of the candy store revealed a break-in, which was captured on several surveillance cameras. As cops investigated, Delgado unsuccessfully tried to flush fudge bricks down a hotel toilet. The "large amount of fudge" clogged up the toilet, reported police. Delgado was charged with swiping ten fudge loafs valued at about $70 and five M&M pretzels worth $19.45. Annapolis cops snapped the below photo of Delgado before transporting her to a local detention center.

Trash Talk was in town last night for a dope show with Rise and Fall ! This shit was sooooo nuts ! If you have never seen Trash Talk live you are definitely missing out! Lee's stage presence, actually fuck that, the whole bands stage presence is out of this world. Picture Lee screaming looking like a zombie shouting lyrics to "Worthless Nights" while 10 kids exchange punches and kicks with him and Gary and Spence smashing kids with kicks and guitars. The hardcore scene is dope and definitely on a huge comeback. Rise and Fall was crazy as well and totally blew me away. If you haven't added Trash Talk to your myspace do so here.
